Auto And Truck Painting In Dallas, Texas.
How Auto Painting Works At A Dallas Body Shop
Auto painting at Marty Logan's House Of Colour in Dallas begins with the manufacturer paint code, not a guess at the color. We mix to that code, spray out a test card, and blend the new paint into the panels either side so the repair does not sit as a brighter square under the light.
Why Choose Us
A Repainted Panel Should Not Announce Itself
We Blend, We Do Not Just Fill The Panel
Paint fades. A door sprayed to the exact factory code on a fifteen year old truck will still read new next to its neighbor, so we carry the color into the adjoining panels until the change is gradual instead of a line.
The Code Comes Off The Vehicle
We pull the paint code from the door jamb or the build plate and mix to it, then spray a card and check it against the panel in daylight before anything goes on the vehicle.
A Trailer Fits In The Same Booth
Fleet trucks, dump bodies, box trailers and buses get painted here alongside daily drivers. Very few shops in Dallas will take both.
Estimates And Insurance
How A Paint Job Runs Here
The difference between a repaint that reads right and one that reads new is almost entirely in the preparation and the blend. Neither is visible on the invoice, which is why cheap paint work looks cheap about six months in.

Questions We Get Asked
Paint Questions We Get In Dallas
Will the new paint match the rest of the vehicle?
We mix to the manufacturer code, then blend into the panels either side. On an older vehicle the factory code alone will not match, because the existing paint has faded, so the blend is what makes it disappear.
Can you paint a whole truck or trailer, not just one panel?
Yes. Fleet trucks, dump bodies, box trailers, buses and RVs are painted here regularly. Around seventy percent of the work in this shop is commercial.
Do you paint over rust?
No. Rust under fresh paint comes back through it. We cut it out and repair the metal first, and that shows on the written estimate before the work starts.
How do I know the price before you start?
You get the estimate in writing. If stripping the old finish uncovers something underneath that changes the number, we call you with it rather than adding it to the final bill.
